Our activity groups are our way of learning new skills and sharing talents and know-how we may have with others. All that is required is a Group Leader (often self-appointed!) and enough interested members to get things going. Names and e-mail addresses of Group Leaders are on the last page of each monthly Newsletter, which you will receive when you join FiFi. Some groups have Facebook Groups which can be joined by request.

Groups are free although there may be charges for materials.

Mind over matter...

Book Group

As the title says – read all about it and then discuss it with a group of friends over coffee and cake. Meeting once a month, the group has discussed everything from Trollope to grisly murders. Come and join us and expand your mind and be surprised at the wide variety of books you do actually like reading.

Business Forum

This group is for anyone who is either running a business, thinking of running a business or just interested in businesses in France.

Discussion Group

Held monthly, these lunches centre around a topic chosen by the hostess  and everyone brings a dish to share – join and have some fun.

Go on, get involved!

Exploring French History

Monthly meeting of minds to find out about general and local issues which have made France & the French what/who they are...

Film Group

A friendly informal group of ladies who join together each month to enjoy a film in English. Either at 'Le Querlys' cinema in St Antonin, or in Caussade.

(Photo taken at British Film weekend organised by Lettice Lacey at Caussade cinema, summer 2018; with teas by Glynis Howgego of 'Cakes in France'...both FiFI members!)

French Conversation

The Group Leader is Romanian and speaks fluent French. That, and her experience as a teacher makes her perfect to lead these groups. There are two classes at two different levels, usually on a Tuesday.

Oil Painting

Whether you are a beginner, an occasional painter or would like to learn to paint, come along and have a go! All the materials are provided for a small contribution.  This class books up quickly and there is usually a waiting list, so get your name down!

Zoom Quiz

Pit your wits against other members in our monthly quiz. Partners welcome. Started during lockdown, this has proved popular as it's a great way for members who don't live full time in France to join in!

Usually held on the 2nd Friday of the month.
